No sign-up. Drop in the cities and the destination comes out.
Seville and Barcelona sit at opposite corners of Spain, and it shows the moment someone suggests meeting in the middle. The middle of the map lands on cities with few connections from one of the two, and going by train or car eats the weekend. Once you fly, the question changes: it's not which city sits halfway, but where both of you can reach on a reasonable fare at the same time. Sometimes the answer is inside Spain, sometimes abroad, at a similar distance for each side.
The calendar works against you as well. Andalusia and Catalonia don't share public holidays: 28 February is a day off on one side, Sant Joan and the Diada on the other. A long weekend that's perfect for one half of the group is a working day for the other, and whoever flies out on Friday evening pays peak-time prices. Before you settle on a date, check whether it's a holiday for only one side.
What helps is putting Seville and Barcelona into the same search and comparing what the whole group spends, with each person's share in plain view. Anyone actually closer to Málaga? Enter it as a separate departure. The numbers underneath are indicative, drawn from recent lookups, and don't hold anything for you; the figure that counts is the one you see live at checkout.
Frequently asked questions
Isn't meeting in Madrid always cheapest?
Not always. Madrid is compared like any other destination: if it's the cheapest and fairest for both, it'll come out on top. But low-cost routes from Seville and Barcelona to cities abroad sometimes cost the same as a domestic flight, or less.
Why look at each region's public holidays?
Because they change who can leave and when. If the long weekend only applies in one region, the other side of the group flies at busier times or has to take the day off. Picking a date that's free for both usually saves more than chasing the cheapest ticket.
Can more than one person fly from each city?
Yes. Say how many of you leave from each city and the group total counts every ticket. If you're not together to fill it in, share the group-plan link and let each person enter theirs.
